Jan Jooster: Our Top 4 Outerwear Picks

2:13:00 AM

Incase you have been living under a rock; Melisa Poulton and I collaborated with Jagermister Namibia, to bring you an exciting collection we called Jan Jooster.  The response to the collection has been absolutely amazing and it is truly exciting to see the Namibia’s fashion audience growing with the Namibian fashion industry. Now I don’t want to gush too much about the collection (Because if you follow me of social media, You know I am already doing too much.) but if you haven’t seen it yet, you can checkout  @lamodefashions on instagram. We've got a whole tile of content just for you.

Now back to what this post is really about. Outerwear! Because we wanted this collection to be unisex, Melisa and I needed to make sure that all the garments in the collection could be worm by both sexes and to prove that we took some pictures with woman wearing the same exact garments as our male model on the store front. As much as I am in love with this entire collection, these are my top 5 Outerwear picks in no particular order.

The Drawstring Cameo Jacket is the ultimate unisex jacket and basically looks good on everyone. We added a drawstring on the inside for the ladies who want to flex and show us that waistline in the middle of winter and some really cool orange accents because orange is winning right now.

The JJ Black Bomber Jacket. If you are a serious Jägermeister fan, this is the Jacket you want to buy. I’m personally obsessed with the piping placement, but that Jäger stag logo at the back is pretty cool.

The JJ Fleece Bomber Jacket is not for everyone, but I know a lot of guys with a unique style will appreciate this one cause it is not the easiest jacket to pull off, but if you pull this off, you are going make everyone around you want one.

JJ NY Bomber Jacket Who doesn’t love a big puffy Jacket. Of course Namibia will never be New York cold in winter, but we thought this jacket would make a good layering piece for both men and women. And the double-sided zipper is a pretty cool feature if you don’t want to zip the whole thing up.

Ok those were my top 4 picks. Let me know if you’ve seen the collection and which was your favourite garment.

P.S.  If you want to gift me with one of these … I would have said the NY Bomber, but it’s sold out for now. So you can get me this Tee instead. Please, thank and Bye!

…xoxo LM (The F.O.R)
